Here are some samples of my feature writing. Please click on any of the images to see the full feature article. Hope you like them and thanks for your interest.
These sample feature articles cover a variety of subjects, including car rallying, social scenes, clubs, art, alumni, interviews, shooting, tea and plastic surgery.
These samples are for different publications and publishers, including Inter-continental Traveller, South China Morning Post Sunday Magazine, Tatler, Dimensions in Living, South China Morning Post newspaper and The Regent Magazine.
Of these samples, my favourite one is probably Bejing or Bust. This was an exciting south-to-north trip across China (i.e. Hong Kong to Beijing) trying to keep up with the rally cars in the 555 Hong Kong-Beijing rally. What a country! We covered 3,800 kilometres in seven days. Around 210 rally cars were racing and we went, at speed through the provinces of Guangdong, Hunan, Hubei, Henan and Hebei – ending up in Tiananmen Square for a celebratory party in the Great Hall of the People. The winner was Kenneth Eriksson driving a Mitsubishi Lancer Evo III. You can read the whole feature article here.
My second favourite feature article is when I interviewed the brillaint photographer George Apostolidis.
